TCPA Consent Disclosure
Last updated January 2026
This disclosure explains the consent you provide when you submit a match request on Home Repair One, consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the requirement for one-to-one consent. You are never required to provide contact information to see an estimate — consent is only relevant if you choose to be matched with a pro.
One-to-one consent
When you submit the match request and check the consent box, you provide express written consent to be contacted by the one specific pro we identify for your job — not a network, list, or unlimited set of buyers. Your consent is to that single authorized business for the project you described. We do not use your submission as blanket permission for other companies to contact you.
What you agree to
- To be contacted by the authorized pro by phone call, text message (SMS), and/or email at the number and address you provide.
- That contact may be made using automated technology, including an autodialer or prerecorded or artificial voice, where applicable.
- That consent is not a condition of any purchase, and you may still contact a pro directly without providing consent.
What we record
To document consent, we capture the consent language shown to you, the date and time, and the IP address from which the request was submitted, along with the contact details and project information you provided.
Message frequency, rates & help
Message frequency varies based on your request and your conversation with the pro. Message and data rates may apply. For help with texts, reply HELP.
How to opt out
- Reply STOP to any text message to end SMS contact.
- Ask the pro directly to stop contacting you.
- Contact us to revoke consent or ask questions. Because we authorize only one pro per request and do not resell your information, there is no downstream network to keep calling.
